Jordanian Duty Free Shops P.L.C hold the exclusive concession for cross-border shopping stores between Jordan and the surrounding countries. There are shops at the frontiers with Palestine, Israel, Iraq, Syria and Saudia Arabia as well as a port store in Aqaba supplying ferry and cruise passengers. Although a full range of traditional duty free products are sold, in some locations there may be restrictions on the sale of alcohol, due to local laws or prohibition.
