InterBaires was the dominant Duty-Free retailer in Argentina and in late 2011 they were bought-out by the Swiss Travel retail conglomerate Dufry. Please see our entry for this Company for more details. The Firm operated retail stores under the name 'Duty Free Shop Argentina' in the five main airports, including Ezeiza and Aeroparque in Buenos Aires and the airports in Cordoba, Bariloche and Mendoza. The stores still operate at these locations, but have now been integrated into the Parent Group.
