Duty Free Caribbean Holdings is the group name for the merged enterprise formed between Cave Shepherd & Co of Barbados and Dufry, the Swiss Travel Retail giant, which now spans most Caribbean islands. In 2000 the retailer Colombian Emeralds International, a seller of jewellery and gemstones, was added to the group portfolio. This gave the company a presence throughout the region, especially in cruise ship destinations.

Today, the group has over 50 stores selling the full luxury duty-free range of jewelry, gifts, watches, perfumes and cosmetics and also the traditional products of liquors and tobaccos.
