The Aelia Group is a subsidiary of the French Media and Travel Retail giant, Lagardère Services, whose travel shopping outlets spread the globe. Duty Free shopping locations include Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, Nice, Bordeaux and others in France. Some of these stores are also tax-paid outlets for European (EU) travellers.

Further afield the company have retail operations on Irish Ferries, airline onboard sales through the division Aeroboutique Inflight, stores in the British airports of Belfast and London and La Tontouta airport in New Caledonia, where duty free arrivals has been introduced.

There are Branded stores for fashion and other goods which are run in conjunction with the owners and some new concepts like 'So Chocolate'. Lagardère have a news distribution service and run many news, gift and convenience outlets in airports around the world.
