This is an International ferry port and if your ship is travelling to an international destination, you will be able to buy duty free goods on board. You will not be able to buy tax-free or duty free goods if your ferry is a domestic sailing, within the same country.

Ferries and cruises from ports in the Canary Islands operate to and from mainland Spain and cruise ships sail in international waters to destinations such as Africa, Great Britain, Madeira and Portugal. The Canary Islands is a special territory, so buying duty free products on board is permitted on all these international shipping routes. Intra-island ferries are not likely to have shops on board, unless they are travelling on to the Iberian Peninsular.
